In May, 2019, my wife, 25 years after leaving the world of education, graduated from ASU with her Master’s in education (and a perfect 4.0 GPA). Family flew in from Oregon and Louisiana to attend her graduation and when asked what she wanted for her graduation dinner she said El Charro. We raced back to Tucson from Tempe, changed clothes, and all met up at El Charro (9 of us showed up). Fajitas were had and enjoyed by all while we were regaled by the mariachi band playing that night. Enjoyed our meals (and the mariachi band!), and talked the time away while stuffing ourselves with the best carne asada in Tucson – if not the entire western hemisphere.
