We Love El Charro!
Our first date was lunch at El Charro on Saturday, August 6, 2016. We both ordered Chile Rellenos and iced teas. It was a sweet and special day. For the next five August 6 dates that followed, back to El Charro we would go, always ordering the same delicious meal and realizing with every passing year how happy and committed to each other we had become.
On August 6, 2021, Sean got down on his knee and proposed to me at our table witnessed by the other customers that day. Of course, I said yes to the most wonderful man in the world. We talked of waiting to tie the knot until August 6, 2022, but on a whim we got married in our backyard on October 27, 2021.
Of course, August 6 is still our special date, and we celebrated as a married couple on August 6, 2022 at El Charro and we will continue our tradition for the rest of our lives!
