My family moved to Arizona when I was about 4 years old from the East Coast. In 1980 when I was 5 years old my Mom asked a friend where a good Mexican restaurant to eat at was and we ended up in Downtown Tucson at the original El Charro Cafe location. It was there that I tried Carne Seca for the first time and in a Chimichanga no less. Your food has always been the best Mexican Food I have ever tasted and I remember from the age of 5 to my current age of 47 where to get the most delicious Mexican food in town, at El Charro of course. After 100 years the food is still amazing and so is the staff and owners. Thank you for your delicious food and the delicious childhood memories!
